Overview
This course is designed to deliver modern endodontics in a day. It includes a complete summary of primary endodontics focused on the need-to-know components for anyone looking to improve and update their endodontic knowledge. From canal location to instrumentation, bioceramics, effective obturation, this course will help you make endodontics simple and effective.
Rotary? Reciprocating? Both?
This course will give you the chance to get hands-on experience with both rotary and reciprocating technologies and to discover which works best in your hands. The use of 3D printed teeth gives the opportunity to treat an anatomically accuratetooth while still having clear, visible insight to improve your learning.
These courses will cover:
> Clinical Diagnosis & Case Selection. When to treat and when to refer.
> Locating elusive canals & contemporary thoughts on access cavities.
> Canal preparation. Glide path management and prevention of instrument fracture.
> Bioceramics and their expanding role in endodontics.
> Modern concepts in canal irrigation.
> Instrumentation – using and understanding developments in both Rotary and Reciprocating systems.
You will practice on 3D Training Teeth
A reproduction of a natural first upper left molar #26-01
Thanks to its transparency, it is possible to see the progress of the instruments at each stage of the treatment
Course Aims, Objectives & Anticipated Outcomes:
> Understanding the Biological principles and objectives for successful endodontic treatment
> When to refer and how to explain this to the patient
> Instrumenting canals of different complexities, including hands-on using Rotary & Reciprocating systems
> Current thinking on irrigation and disinfection protocols
> The principles of obturation: Advantages & disadvantages of the different methods and the emergence of Bioceramic materials
